Hi PM/QM experts,
I am trying to create order manually for breakdown maintenance through IW31. After doing maintenance work, equipment need to be inspected. Is it possible to add Master Inspection Characteristics against operations in the same breakdown maintenance order?
Request clarification before answering.
Greetings,
I don't think you can assign inspection characteristics to maintenance order directly but you could try maintaining a task list with predefined inspection data.
Before you release the order you could include this task list in the maintenance order via Extras -> Task list selection -> Direct entry. You should get an inspection lot if your order type has inspection type assigned to it.
This would mean that you predefine inspection characteristics. You can always assign additional during results recording as unplanned characteristics.
Best regards, Matjaž.

Hello Dhan, Ideally equipment's are inspected through Calibration methods as per predefined call horizon mentioned maintenance plan. If you still wants to inspect equipment through breakdown maintenance order, you can have validation process mentioned in notification and by having quality inspector task in place. So that it will not allowing closing of breakdown maintenance order until quality tasks is completed.
