You cannot set the document date to system. It is not that it is technically difficult. But, you should know the meaning of document date. Document date is something like invoice date, credit memo date, expense voucher date, journal date etc. You cannot and should not equal it to system date.

You can put posting date to the system date. But, keep in mind, by putting this kind of restriction, you future you will have all the trouble for back dated posting, which is very common in the business.

Hi

Is it your business requirement or your doubt

Usually Document date means Original invoice date which was created by Vendor or customer

And it may or may not be always equal to system date

I hope you understood

Thanks
