How can I print the Responsible Person on all Billing Documents?

Hi Experts,

how can I print the Responsible Employee and Email on this Billing Documents:

SDBIL_CI_STANDARD_DE

SDBIL_CM_STANDARD_DE

I work with Adobe Livecycle Designer. Unfortunately, I can't find any associated data binding. Where can I add this data binding on cloud?

data binding for partner roles / functions can be influenced in the customizing for sales partner functions, where you have to enable in the partner scheme the print for the specific role and assign a name which then can be found in the data binding. There is no need to create custom fields as suggested by some others.

Hello Stefan,

You can try data source extension with the app "Custom Fields".

If the field you mentioned, like "Responsible Employee" and "Email" are standard fields, you can extend in the data source. The data source can be found when creating or downloading the template in the app "Maintain Form Template".

After you extend the fields in the data source, you can find them in the Adobe Livecycle Designer.

I know what you mean, but I have the problem that I can't find various Data Sources in this app. For example, the data source for a purchase order node. Why are some forms not available in this list for selecting a new Data Source Extension? You can see this in the Picture - shouldn't there be a field like Procurement - Purchase Order Node form, or something like that?

Hello Stefan,

As I mentioned, the name of the data source can be found in the app "Maintain Form Template". You will find the respective name of data source for each form template. Some are not an individual source for one form hence the name may have little difference. You can take a try on those have similar name. Hope this helps, thank you!

I would suggest you start checking from chapter 4.3.1 Customizing Form Templates, but as per your scenario you should prioritize chapters 4.3.1.3 Adding a Custom Field to the Content Form Template and 4.3.1.2.7 Changing Elements of Master Form Template from Content Form Template

The problem I have is that I don't need an additional custom field in the app but that the field "Responsible employee" already exists and is also filled, but it is not printed on the form. So, now I am looking for how I can set this field to be print relevant.

I had the same example with the Order Confirmation form. I had to tick the partner function "Employee Responsible" print relevant in the CBC under "Set Up Partner Determinations for Sales Documents". Doesn't this app exist for other forms as well?
