How can I maintain decimals in calculating Frequency in days under posting parameters in RE-FX?

I am trying to set a frequency for a condition in a contract but I want the system to calculate the days in decimal places instead of 30 days every month and Exact numbers of Days.

Hi can you clarify with an example what you are looking for? The days are not calculated in decimal places but the conditions are calculated up to 6 decimal places. Please describe the business scenario.

Based on your explanation, we've tried replicating the scenario with the below mentioned frequency parameters and the system works as expected.

Contract Start-01.08.2024 , Contract End Date-08.11.2024 = Contract for 100 days

Condition Unit price- 91.56

Dear Nayamath, I have simulated your proposition but it did not work as expected. In yours, you used only one flow type and here, they are two: Rent and HKL

Kindly help me investigate further because when I did my simulation and used yearly amount reference, the closest it game me is this:

The only decimal calculation method available to us is 30 days (or) exact days.

You might try looking at other possibilities, such as other differing measurements and calculation formulas.

Could you elaborate on the business requirement?

This is the scenario:

The system does not calculate accurately monthly contract values with start and end dates within the months. Even after specifying various frequency options.
For example, a contract has a lease running for 01.08.2024 to 08.11.2024 as start and end date.
The duration is 3.27 months (as calculated on calculator)  and should give a Lease value of US$9,156.00 and HKL US$1,193.55 for the period.
Rather, the system is given US$9,146.67.48 and US$1,92.33 for both Lease and HKL. The Business were using AX to calculate and their developer gave them the functionality of decimals in frequency calculation. They want the same on SAP and I told them that there is no functionality as such for frequency on SAP. if you look closely, you will discover that the difference between the expected figure and the SAP figure is about $10. Kindly give me advise on SAP best practice.

The dates in your first example were 01.08.2024 to 08.11.2024 (100 days), and the anticipated leasing rent was $9,156.00 USD.

The daily amount would be 91.56 USD if we divided 100 days by US$9,156.00.

Please specify in your example the unit pricing and if it is daily or monthly. Based on the aforementioned, we have adjusted the frequency invoice cycle to monthly and the amount reference to daily.

Does the unit price shown in the screenshot below represent the daily amount? or a sum every month.
