How can I do a material to material STOwith different UOM

We have a material where the GR is in KG. But we issue the material in sack. Can I do a mat to mat using different UOM?

Actually the scenario is, we buy a material in KG. But we issue it in sack. How do I maintain both UOMs? What is the best way to record, when KG and sack ( equivalent total KG in sack) wont be the same?

If you really need to do it, you can issue 1 material to a cost center and withdraw the other material against the same cost center.

PS: this will have a financial impact of both the materials have different valuations.

You can't. The same base unit of measure is a prerequisite for material-to-material transfer posting with movement type 309.

You should avoid using 309 transfer posting anyway but in exceptional cases. It's highly dangerous - in real life you just don't convert one material into another just like that. You need to execute some activities to do that. Therefore you should use regular production orders here instead of shortcutting with 309 postings.
