Hierarchical strategy plan maintenance packet call pause in multiple packet case

Hello,

If I have strategy based preventive maintenance plan which includes one maintenance item and which task list include multiple different selected maintenance packets (cycle/interval).

QUESTION: Can I pause and put on hold OIL CHANGE 3 WEE,  but still continue VISUAL INSPECTION 1 WEE packet to call order every  1 week?

1. VISUAL INSPECTION  1 WEE 

2. OIL CHANGE 3 WEE

perhaps you can try using offset in strategy package. When a strategy changes you will need to run transaction IP11U to update scheduling.

Below is an example of offset for 10 years of package one. Perhaps try in a test system first.

After running IP11U we get the following result - package one (which is yearly) has been "suspended" for 10 years. 

If you want to suspend it for indefinite time then try to use a bigger number - for example 100 (suspended for 100 years).
