Hide columns in Overall Release of Purchase Requisitions screen via My Inbox app

Hello experts,

I would like to seek for advice on how to hide a column in the Overall Release of Purchase Requisitions screen in My Inbox app. I am able to add 4 columns (Asset Number, Internal Number, GL Account and Cost Center) by using CDS View extension. After adding the columns, I was requested to hide one column (Connected Material) as the table now looks squished and that particular column is not in use. However, I am unable to use CDS Metadata extension because there is no annotation to allow metadata extension in the CDS C_PurRequisitionItemFs. Is there any way I could hide the column? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,

as metadata extensions are not allowed for this particular CDS view, UI adaptations cannot be done in the backend model. Have you tried to use Runtime Adaptation:
