system can use palnned delivery time from material master or from the info record to find the delivery date automatically if you leave that field blank in po

Hi,

It seems that you are pracising in IDES..

in ME12, put some days in field"Pl. Deliv. Time" under Purch.Org Data1..

So it will be added to your System date as Delivery date

Hi,

Your query is not clear. The delivery date is calculated by the system based on the planned delivery period you have entered in material master. Based on this planned delivery time & the PO creation date, system automatically proposes the delivery date, which you need not change.

Pl revert if this does not clear the query.

yes what I wanted to know is, can I set a standard delivery date which is common for a group of purchasing rather than a material alone.

The material procurement is at individual material level,

a group will have n number of materials and it is not possible to define at group level
