Hello, beyond SAP readiness check, is there a simple way to ensure parallel accounting is configured

Gurus, if the system is ECC EHP 8, with classic GL active, which config or transaction or master data will tell me that an account-based approach is being followed to achieve parallel accounting? 

The client has the following:

a. multiple CoA

b. alternative account numbers

I have the same question. The readiness check has indicated that the customer is on Classic GL with ACCOUNTS approach. But we can find no evidence of an accounts approach in the system. How would we check? This is critical to determine if a preproject for an s4 conversion is required. Thanks
