Hello,
We have defined a header condition for the freight value, which should be distributed equally among the PO line items based on their respective quantities rather than the percentage of their value relative to the total PO amount.
| Line Item | Material | Quantity | Net Price (Rs.) | Total (Rs.) |
| 1 | xxx | 5 | 5 | 25 |
| 2 | yyy | 10 | 10 | 100 |
| 3 | zzz | 15 | 15 | 225 |
Total Quantity: 30
Total Value: Rs. 350
Currently, if the Header Freight Value (HFV) = Rs. 1000, it is being distributed based on the value percentage of each line item. For example, Line Item 1, with a total value of Rs. 25, contributes 7.14% to the total PO value (Rs. 350). Accordingly, 7.14% of Rs. 1000 (i.e., Rs. 71.43) is allocated to Line Item 1.
However, our requirement is to distribute the HFV based on the quantity of PO line items rather than their value percentage. For example, Line Item 1 has a quantity of 5, which is 16.66% of the total quantity (30). Therefore, 16.66% of Rs. 1000 (i.e., Rs. 166.66) should be allocated to Line Item 1.
We need to configure the system to distribute the HFV proportionally based on the quantity of each PO line item instead of its value percentage. Could you please suggest the possible solutions to achieve this?
Thanks,
Sabarinathan K
