Group Data Analysis (reporting logic) - ID Display Options

Hello Community,

I probably have a basic question about the display options within the Group Data Analysis FIORI App.

when the query is produced and we use a hierarchy within the rows, it always shows the full path including all information (Version, Chart of Accounts and then the ID of the reporting item):

this is only one example with an FS Item, however when a Hierarchy is used, the string could get quite long and not easy to read.

I did not find an option on how to only show the ID of the item itself withouth having the full path.

Does anyone have a hint on this?

HI Rene,

Hopefully this isn't redundant. In the Reporting tool Right Click on the FSITEM and then select DISPLAY.

You will then see lots of choices. Key Only, Text Only, Key and Text, and also Medium Description or Long Description.

So try the various choices and see which one fits your needs the best. Hopefully one of these choices will get you what you are looking for.

did you see the options for compound or non compound key? This removes some of the path

I'm not sure if this works in GDA, but in BW if you included the compounded characteristics at the top of the columns it will switch to just including the ID itself. I.e., try to put Dimension and Cons CoA as the first fields in the columns and maybe it will remove those from the account ID in the rows.
