Group currency same as company code currency in sap

Hi SAP friends,

We are use ECC version. We have a requirement to create a group currency 30 as CAD in OB22.

And the company code currency is also CAD. company code is already live in production.

Can we create this config? will it impact on any other reports? Could you please share any example if you have.
