GR: Previous period of Fiscal Year Period dimension in Custom Analytical Queries App

Hi all,

I need to bring the previous period of the Fiscal Year Period dimension based on the period selected by the user in this dimension through Custom Analytical Queries app. For example, if user selects period 001.2023, the query should bring the data to period 012.2022. I have tried to create user input filter with the derivation functions "Fiscal year period shift" but the system only brings the selected period through the Fiscal Year Period variable. Does anyone know what I can do?

Hi,

What I have done as an workaround is to add 2 input variables on FiscalYear Period: Current Period + Comparison Period. Then you can add these to the filter in the report.

That can give you the required periods:

I know it isn't 100% what you are looking for - but it works and give the possibility for like-for-like comparison on periods as well.

Hi Cristina,

The requested feature is available in the latest version of GR from 2023 through the Group Financial Statements Fiori App.

If you are using the older versions of 2023 then we need to go for Customising the Standard Data Source I_MatrixConsolidationReportC.
