Hi all,

when posting a GR for subcontracting PO with VL32N the 543 not posted even if the components are listed there with the right qty and batch and stock is present in stock O.

it works with MIGO but I want to use VL32N.

Is there any missing config I have to put in place?

Thanks!

Hello i2pino

As per note 654613 - Batches and goods receipt for inbound delivery for provision of materials for subcontract o...

When you post the goods receipt for an inbound delivery with reference to a subcontractor order, the standard SAP system explodes the subcontracting subcomponents contained in the stock of material provided to the vendor, which are now to be posted at the same time as the goods receipt posting of the manufactured component (for example, with movement type 543).

That is SAP standard way of posting subcontracting components usage when standard deliveries are used.

However, you might have a modification from the note 654613 - Batches and goods receipt for inbound delivery for provision of materials for subcontract o... implemented that deactivates automatic components usage and shift it to the MB04 transaction.

Also consider the note 352243 - Goods movement for deliveries with reference to the subcontract order that enhances the error log handling if case there is a problem with posting of components usage during inbound delivery posting.

So, if I understand well, the standard is to consume the components like in a kind of backflush, correct?

I need to modify the qties and enter the batch numbers instead...

in addition, I receive the ASN with components batches and qties with an IDOC. so everythign is already filled in. But when I post the GR no 543 gets posted...

Thanks a lot of the help!

i2pino yes, you could compare subcontracting components consumption to backflushing.
