Goods automatically restricted when a customer returns

Hi experts.

Is there anyway to automatically restrict goods when doing the receipt for a customer return?

Hi Angel,

I guess the automatic restriction of the return goods is not available. As a workaround, you can perform the following steps:

1. Create a logistic model for "Inbound Customer Return" from Warehousing and Logistics Master Data" WoC, and maintain the inspection scope as Autonomic Inspection.
2. Then, maintain a Valid inspection plan for the product from "Quality Planning" WoC. (The inspection type as to be maintained as "Receiving Inspection - Customer Return"

Due to this the return goods will have a insoection status by default restricting you to use it for further sales without change of stock.

Let me know if this works.

Hi Angel,

Do you mean the goods shall go to returns stock or blocked stock BUT not into un-restricted stock?

If yes, then, you may check the schedule line configuration using VOV6 for the concerned schedule line and see the movement type that triggers on it.
