GL master data Upload in Chart of account level- SAP S4 HANA Cloud

Hi Team,

I am working on the SAP S4HANA Cloud project now, I have a requirement to upload the GL master data COA and CC level in the system. I know we have an option only to copy from the existing GL account.

Can you please let me know if any possible solution to upload the GL master?

How are you? I have excluded the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud" and included the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Finance" for this question, as Chart of Accounts is an Object related to Finance Line of Business.

S/4Hana Cloud has a single operating CoA (YCOA) and it comes pre-delivered and defined to support the best practices with around 2000 already created GL accounts and its corresponding account determination.

This is why there's no need to mass upload the GL accounts as they are already created in the system. You can create new ones and there's also a process to renumber the YCOA if you need to during project execution, but mass upload is not needed.

You can use the app Manage Operating Chart of Accounts for the mass creation of accounts, but basically, you are not creating from scratch but copying them from the reference. As a result, you have created a new account based on already existing ones.
