Generate an outbound IDoc when posting through F-28 Tcode.

Hi All,

I have a requirement to generate an outbound IDoc which carries the posting data of the document posted through the F-28 and other similar TCodes (FBZ1).

When the document is posted, an outbound IDoc should be generated which has all the posting data and it will be sent to another SAP system.

Please suggest some methods to achieve this. If any IDoc type is already available for this?

Hi,

This can be achieved by implementing BTE00001030.Read documentation of FM

SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00001030 to know when and how this event will be triggered.

Please follow below steps to implement and search SCN on how to implement BTE's

1.Go to FIBF(Tcode)> Settings(menu bar) > Products > Customer > Create one product as ZOB_IDOC,text as Outbound idoc and save.
2.Create ZFM(Z_BTE00001030_OUTBOUNDIDOC) by copying SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00001030.
3.Go to FIBF > Settings (menu bar) > Products > P/S Modules > of a customer
maintain Event = 00001030
Product = ZOB_IDOC
FM = Z_BTE00001030_OUTBOUNDIDOC
4. Create a 'Update Module' ZFM_create_idoc and build you idoc generation logic.
5. call FM ZFM_create_idoc in 'UPDATE TASK' in BTE Z_BTE00001030_OUTBOUNDIDOC

Thanks for the reply.

Is there any IDoc/message type present which can be used to transfer the FI posting Data or do I have to create a new one?

Also if there are other implementation present of the same BTE, then how do i make sure it only triggers for my required T-Codes?

Before you reinvent the wheel, read some documentation that could be found in online documentation.
