G/L balances are inconsistent in different reports

Hi,

We are trying to create a custom report, however the GL balance values are different in different reports. We are not able to understand the behavior of the system.

we are using the data source 'G/L Account Period Totals / Balances'. This is the same data source for trial balance report. However, TB report GL balances are different to the data source preview. Could you help us understand the system behavior.

Dear Customer, 

Please note that if you check the G/L Accounts - Line Items report directly from where you are seeing this difference in the Trial Balance report, you will see that the values match with the Data Source: G/L Account Period Totals / Balances.
