Freight Cost calculation based on volume

Hi there,

In our scenerio, the cost will be fixed for a truck. But while apportionment of cost among material, it should apportion based on the volume of the material. But it is apportioning based on weight. Pls help us with the proper configuration settings.

And while apportioning it is bringing Power Unit as the condition unit in sub items, which we are not maintaining anywhere. Has any body come across this particular case?

Thanks and Regards,

Deepshikha

That we already tried lakshmi.

But that does not solves our purpose as our condition type is not based on volume. It is fixed cost always. What ever we pay to vendor is constant irrespective of volume loaded on the truck. Only the apportionment has to be based on the volume.

Some more lights...

Hi,

I am in the same problem as yours. Can you please share your idea about how did you reslove this issue. For full truck loads we pay per mile but we want the posting to be based on volume rather than weight.

Thank you

Hi,

The system apportion the cost based on the origin configured. Where a more detailed level of apportionment is used, the apportionment is then carried out based on propotional weight (instead of volume), and this is the standard behaviour of the system.

You may discuss the requirement with your ABAP consultant and consider using the exit EXIT_SAPLV54K_001 (available in Enhancement V54KSFRC) to meet your other rules of cost apportionment.

Hope the above helps.

Thanks.
