For lower materials, purchase requisitions are generating , while creating the production order

Hi All,

While creating the production order, for lower level BOM components, purchase requisitions are generating with the direct procurement.

But for lower level materials, we have not activated the special procurement at the material master, BOM and at over all plant parameters.

Please let me know is there any other place, where we can maintain the special procurement to get the direct procurement for lower materials.

Thanks for the given link.

It is completely related to PP-SD integration scenario and assemble to order process. But in my scenario, planning strategy is 10, requirement type is LSF. So, it is not linked to my issue.

With respect to my scenario, lower level components has to consider the available stock, instead of creating the purchase requisitions with direct procurement.

It might be because of Apple's MRP Strategy requirement class. Please have a look at that blog post.

Hi Raja,

Than you for given information.

Let me make it more clear. My BOM header material is "Apple" and to make apple I required below components.

1. Camera

2. Mother Board

3. Panel

When I am creating the production order manually, expectation is only order reservations has to generate. But in my scenario, along with order reservations, purchase requisitions are generating and system not considering the available stock.

I have not maintained any special procurement for my lower level components and in BOM item category maintained as "L-Stock type" and in my Overall plant parameters and MRP group parameters, direct procurement maintained as "3". So, with respect to above mentioned points, system has to generate only order reservations.

Below mentioned screen is related to MD04 screen, where system generating purchase requisitions.
