FOC Rebates through Condition Contract

Hello Expert,

Below is the requirement to map the rebates through condition contract:

The customer receives free products upon achieving one specific target. The FOC products could be different from the funding products (the products that the customer has to buy to qualify for the rebate).

In this case how we can determine the accruals from the funding products to the FOC products.

Please suggest how we can map this process through condition contract in S/4.

Thanks and Regards,

Pankaj

Hello Pankaj,

this has already been done as a project solution. Basically, you have to connect the condition contract with a value/quantity contract. Definitely no need for an extension.

Hello Pankaj,

This scenario is not part of our standard delivery and we do not provide a ‘how-to’ guide. Finally a development and additional configuration is required.

Please reach out to your SAP TQM if you need additional support here.

Hi Pankaj - in my experience with Settlement Management so far I don't think there is a way to give a free product as part of the settlement after accruals have been completed. The process we have implemented is

  1. Create and activate Condition Contract
  2. Create orders and invoices to accrue against the contract
  3. Settle the contract and issue a credit memo

Perhaps you can do this and when they finally have the credit you offset that with a regular order for the FOC products?

Interesting process, please let us know how you end up solving it
