FM to get supervisor information?

I know the pa and hrp tables where this information is stored. But what i am looking for is a FM or BAPI where i enter an employee pernr and it returns me its supervisor pernr and other supervisor personal data such as First, Last Name and email.

If i can get supervisor pernr from the FM is also great. Because then i know an other FM which can be used to get supervisor's personal data.

Hi Nahman,

I am not aware if there is any FM which can give pernr of supervisor for the employee pernr but for employee position you can get the supervisor / manager

position .There are many FM's for this

check :-

1) RH_GET_LEADER

2)RH_STRUC_GET

3) RH_GET_LEADING_POSITION

and many more ....

well i think you can pick position of employee from hrp1001 against the pernr & get his manager position with FM & from the manager position get the manager pernr (sobid) against object type P & relationship A008 - Holder from hrp1001

Then you already have a FM for picking up the other data you require.

I think this shud solve your problem.
