Flexible Workflow for purchase order "Email notification Request for approval"

Hello,

We have setup flexible workflow for purchase orders. The requirement is to send a Email notification notifying the approver that a purchase order is pending his/her approval. In the flexible workflow setup, I have seen standard email templates for "Approved" and "Rejected" purchase orders, but not for "To be approved" purchase orders.  As this seems to be a standard requirement, I am wondering if the "To be approved" notification is differently triggered? If not, is there a way to develop this?

Marius, I am looking for an email to be sent to an external email system eg. Outlook. And this must occur directly after the PO has been created. Do you if this is available?
