Fleet Management SAP PM - two fuel cards

Dear all,

for all vehicles created as equipment we might need to add a second fuel card. Is there any possiblity to do so? If not, could you suggest maybe a good way to meet this requirement.

Hi,

In Equipment Master data you can maintain only one fuel card.

If you want to monitor card wise usage you need create different measuring points for fuel card and use transfer functionality for this.

Dear Raheel,

I didn´t think of the measuring points so far, even though I already know them well. Based on your suggestions I could do:

I could create a Z-field to hold the additional fuel card number and than create three measuring points - one for each of the fuel cards and a third for the sum of both, which could then also used for the calculation of the consumption of the vehicle.

Dear MTerence,

by fuel cards I mean cards that are used to pay for the fuel when an employee is using the respective business car. Since a fuel card from a certain provider doesn´t cover all gas stations it is thought to use a second provider. Therefore, there can be two fuel cards assigned to a car.
