Fixed Assets reports

Hello,

Has anybody been able to get reports for 4626, 4562 and 4797 from SAP?

4626 - Alternative Minimum Tax

4562 - Depreciation and amortization

4797 - Sales of Business Property

Hello Shan,

Thank you for the thread it was helpful.  I wondered if anybody was getting them directly off of SAP since they are required to be filed yearly.

Ravi the numbers are the IRS form numbers for each report and are required to be filed yearly for fixed assets in the US.

If you are asking these IRS forms could be  replicated in sap for tax reporting , I am afraid that is not the case.

Are they company codes in your system?

Yes.

I have developed two (2) native ABAP SAP Reports that extract the IRS 4562 and IRS 4797 data from the SAP tables [including from S4HANA] and presents the data exactly as needed by IRS line item. For the solution, go to Automate IRS Forms 4562 & 4797 | BETTISWORTH & ASSOCIATES, Inc. (bettisworthassociates.com).

Installation of the workbook is less than 1 day...mainly need to enter your company's asset classes (4562) and any custom transaction codes for disposals (4797).

NOTE: It is unlikely SAP will ever create these reports as they are too specific to the US market.
