Fixed Assets: Capitalization doesn't work

Hello folks,

I understand the flow of fixed asstets is as follows:

  1. Make an Asset Master Data
  2. Make an AP Invoice and include the fixed asset above as an item
  3. Capitalization opens up automatically when I add the AP Invoice above

But the capitalization windown doesn't open up and, because of that, the depreciation that should associate this item doesn't get generated.

Does anyone have the same problem?  One thing is that it worked before.  And then we enabled Data Ownership in the General Settings.  I'm not sure if it relates to this problem at all though.

I appreciate your help in advance.

Hello folks,

I still don't know why the capitalization screen doesn't show up but I  make the following as a solution to this proplem.

With the option checked,

I get the quantity in the master data.

It's good enough for now.

Thank you for your attention.

Hi,

On the COPY of the database, can you check if that Data Ownership is unchecked and then a new capitalization added results correct data or not.

If yes, then the definition for the Data Ownership Authorizations needs to be checked.

Hi Jitin, I agree with you that I should do it. I thought it wouldn't be changeable. Regards, Koichi
