We raised request with SAP to execute ZFL_SET_PRICE_UNIT_PR and correct the Price Unit for
1. Material 8000XX1 in plant ABCD.
2. Material 8000XX2 in plant ABCD
The price unit needs to be 100 in all 3 Currency/Valuation profiles .
SAP ran the program and updated but price units as 90 instead of 100. Subsequently SAP processor corrected the price unit fields in table CKMLCR for the materials. However, they are asking for debug&replace authorization to be able to change the entries in MBEW and MBEWH as well. Since debug and replace authorization to SAP is not allowed by security compliance perspective we are at a stalemate .
My questions are : Can we try correcting MBEW and MBEWH in-house ? If yes, how ? Will there be any side effects and what precautions need to be taken .
