Dear SAP FI Experts,
Currently there is one company code which is live in the PRD System and we are going live with another 4 company codes in March-2016.
We are using V6 fiscal year variant which is "July - June, 4 special periods". It is neither year dependant not calendar year.
Since, Jan-June periods are defined with Year shift as -1, system is considering calendar year 2016 as fiscal year 2015 and it is correct.
But now, we want to change the fiscal year to be appeared as 2017 from July 2016 onwards for all the 5 company codes i.e. new as well as existing.
FYI, all 5 company codes are under the one controlling area.
Asset accounting wasn't implemented in company code 1 which is live but it is in scope for one of the next 4 company codes.
Kindly advise us how to go about changing fiscal year requirement.
