In Fiori CFL app anyway to change custom field type from Code List to CDS VH without deleting it ?

I have a case that a custom field was created with type ( Code List ) in the Pricing - Header business context and it was published and used in many other programs and ABAP Classes and it was configured in many price conditions tables:

So is there anyway to change the custom field type without deleting it, because to delete it it will be a lot of work to be re done just to be able to delete and create the same field again ?

I know I can create new custom field with CDS VH but all the config work will then need to be re done.

The fiori app that is being extended is Manage Prices - Sales app and it need many post config steps after the custom field is created in CFL app:
