Fiori app Report Malfunction configuration error IX007 Partner VW not allowed

I have been trying to configure the Report Malfunction Fiori app and have come across this error when the notification is saved.

Partner function VW is not allowed in partner determination profile PM

I have check the PM profile and Partner VW is not assigned to this profile. We have a Z Partner set up for this profile under Plant Maintenance>Master Data in Plant Maintenance>Basic Settings>Partners>Define Partner Determination Procedure and Partner function. 

Can anyone please point me in the right direction in configuration where I can resolve this error because the SAP Help is very light on.

perhaps you have some inconsistencies in your partner determination procedure and assignments of partner functions to notification type.

Check if you are referencing to VW partner function in step 2 but you haven't assigned it in step 1 (picture below). In step 2 you cannot use a partner function if this partner function is not assigned to a partner determination procedure (step 1) assigned to your notification type.

SPRO -> Plant Maintenance and Customer Service -> Maintenance and Service Processing -> Maintenance and Service Notifications -> Notification Creation -> Partners -> Define Partner Determination Procedure and Partner Function

The Partner VW needed to be added to the Partner profile PM

Then that Partner added to the Notification type for the Person Responsible.

No more error. Thanks
