Finding the reference document?

Hi

I have created Credit memo request with reference to Sales order/Billing document.

How would I know which one is referenced.

Through Document Flow.

Normally you will find Document Flow in Environment, on the topmost line of any Document.

I have the idea of document flow. But is there any other way to find the referenced document.

Credit memo request, being a sales document will have its reference document in table VBAK, field VGBEL and the type of the referenced document in VGTYP.

Hi,

The best way to check the reference document type is through document flow.

F5 key will take you to the document flow.(it's a hierarchy tree structure and you can't miss what you are looking for)

'ctrl + F12' in sales order , will show you stuff in even greater details.
