Find the data source behind a report

Dear Colleagues

Do you know a way to know what is the data source used in a fiori appp in S4HANA cloud?

I Would like to build my own report and knowing at least the main data sources for an standard fiori app would be very much helpful.

Hi Manuel,

Usually there is an API or CDS views used to retrieve the information in the fiori app

For example ,if you wanted to find the data source of the app Manage Product Master Data you  could then search the SAP API HUB for Product and you will find https://api.sap.com/api/CE_PRODUCT_0002/overview

Also , if you know what application area the app belongs like Finance , Sales then you can lookup the

CDS views for these areas at the documentation
