Field "Capacity Allocation Number" in Work Center Migration Object

Dear SAP Support,

I'm facing an issue with the Migration Object "Work center/Resource" in the Migration Cockpit: this template is requesting a field called "Capacity Allocation Number" as mandatory for the work center, but this field does not exist in our current system configuration. Additionally, this field isn't relevant to our plant maintenance module, as it's not required for our operations.

Our question then is:

• How do we proceed without using this field in the data migration template? Or how do we resolve this scenario?

Dear experts,

The fields set as mandatory in the template files of Migration Objects, like "Capacity Allocation Number" in "Work center/Resource", are done so when they are at least:

• Set as mandatory according to SAP's Best Practices; or
• In the application BAPI used in the migration, the field is set as mandatory.

As a possible workaround, if your business context won't use such mandatory field at all, you could check the SAP Fiori Library for possible mass processing apps or interfaces for the business object mentioned.

Otherwise, to use the Migration Object, the mandatory sheets and data must be filled for the migration to work.
