Hello together,
in the table QMEL (Q-notification) there is the field EKORG (purchasing organization), which we want to use for reporting. Now I have seen that this field is empty in most of our notifications.
The field isn't visible in QM01, so it is filled automatically from the program
Does somebody know where and how the EKORG is derived from?
I was a bit lost looking around in programs like SAPLQM00 and couldn't find anything.
I would be happy if someone can help me!
Best regards

Hi Jonathan
I guess you refer with your question to the Notification Type Q2 complaint against supplier.
In this standard Notification Type the EKORG field is displayed by default. If not, you can display the field for your Notification Type in the Customizing:
"Quality Notifications"--> "Notification Creation"--> "Define Screen templates (Composite Activity)"--> "Field Selection: Initial Screens"--> Put the Radio-Button on "Input" for the field RQM01-EKORG
The data source for the EKORG field is the Purchasing document (Table EKKO).
The EKORG field is automatically transferred to the Quality Notification, if you fill the Purchasing document incl. item field in the Quality Notification.
Hope this will help you!
Best regard, Christian

Hi,
it depends on the notification type if the field EKORG is visible or not. (e.g. Q2)
