Hello experts,
We have a requirement to migrate GL Balances from source system to target S/4HANA system. Our requirement is to migrate the balance with the reporting fields like G/L account, Business area, Trading partner, Transaction type etc. Where our source system is using classic G/L and New G/L is not activated.
The challenge we are facing now is, we do not have any table where the correct balance data with all these fields (Trading partner, Transaction type, business area) is available. We have checked the table GLT0, Trading partner & Transaction type is not available. We checked GLT1, which does not have the correct Balance carry forward comparing FS10n report. GLT3 table is empty in the system. We have also checked the table FAGLFLEXT which does not have any data in the system.
Would you be able to help us how do we migrate the data from ECC source system Classic G/L to S/4HANA with all the important fields.
We are looking for any Table/ Function module/ report which can help us to extract the required data.
