FF.5 - MT940: Balance check - error message FB 772 after implementation of SAP Note 2894632

Hello,

After the implementation of SAP NOTE 2894632 we started to receive error message FB 772 (Acct XXX: Stmnt 202100319 opening bal.is not the same as stmnt 202000318 closing bal).
Please note, numbering works like 'year+statement no' - 202100319 comes from 2021 and 202000318 comes from 2020 (!).
For some accounts we receive statements containing numbering gaps during weekends or holidays (and was not an issue before SN 2894632).
In our case, last statement from Friday was 202100316 (year 2021/no 00316) and new one from Monday was 202100319 (year 2021/no 00319). Incoming statement's balance unexpectedly was compared to the statement number 00318 but coming from the previous year - 202000318 (because number 00318 in 2021 does not exist). That check resulted in obvious error. We are unable to upload this statement to SAP now. Have any of you faced similar problem and found some solution for it? We would greatly appreciate any hint.

Problem caused by OSS Note 2894632 (that is the subject of this inquiry) is solved with OSS Note 2962365. The problem with MT940 statements has not occurred anymore since the implementation of that note.
