Hello Experts,
we are currently using the standard SOAP API - schedgagrmtdlivschedule_in to create, and update delivery schedules of sales scheduling agreements . However the API gets processed immediately once invoked from the middleware. The business requirement here is to not automatically process the payload data rather -
1. To store it in S4
2. Have the payload validated by business user
3. And then process it after confirmation.
Is it feasible to have such type of scenario in S4 with SOAP APIs to hold the data before posting/processing? to give a better understanding we can think and visualize how Inbound Idocs work where we have an option to select "Trigger Immediately" or "Trigger by Background Program" .
Constraints: Stopping/storing in Middleware is not recommended by client
