Fast entry TAB in Prodution order

Dear Experts,

Could you please explain why the fast entry TAB is visible in the production order, even though there are no entries in the configuration? Kindly let me know if I am missing any other configuration related to fast entry and guide me towards it. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hello @pradeepkumar21 

To my knowledge tabs in production order maintenance transactions e.g. CO02, CO03 are not customizable. Therefore you see the fast entry tab, even if you don't really use it.

If that bothers you, you can hide it using a transaction variant - SAP Help  Transaction Variants and Screen Variants

Hi Dominik, Thank you for your reply. However, I cannot see the fast entry tab in the ECC system. Is it because it has been removed using SHDO, or does ECC not have a fast entry tab?

Hello @pradeepkumar21 

As far as I know the fast entry tab is activated by Discrete Industries and Mill Products (DIMP) business function in ECC.  The business function is active be default in S/4HANA.
