Hi,

Refer to SAP example, provided in F1 for percentage tolerance:

The local currency is USD. In the field Debit, you have entered 30 USD and in the field Percentage, 1. For amounts up to 3,000 USD therefore, you accept a maximum difference of 1 percent. This means that, depending on the amounts in the line items involved, differences from 0 to 30 USD are tolerated. For amounts over 3,000 USD you accept a maximum difference of 30 USD.

Eli

Hi Eli,

Thanks for the example, just to confirm

If debit amount is $1 and percentage field is 1%

at the time of auto clearing system with calculate 1% of line item difference of Dr and Cr and take the lower value and if its less or equal $1 or 1% than system will clear the line item and move the tolerance amount to clearing account.

Is that right understanding?

Thanks

Yes, that's correct; the difference would need to be less than 1$ and at the same time less than 1% of cleared items amount on debit or credit side.
