External Address number for Business Partner

Hi,

We are trying to load additional address for business partners. In the data migration template, we get to see that External Address Number is mandatory if we have to maintain additional address. But whatever unique value we try, we get error message that External address number already exists for the partner. How to rectify this error and what is the value expected for this field?

We plan to have external number range. Also we want to have master data synchronization with ECC system. What are the settings that we need to ensure for the same?

Hi Radha,

The following KBA addresses this issue.

KBA 2897577 - R1658 error during migration of Customer or Supplier

You must fill the "Additional Addresses" sheet only if there are more than one address for Suppliers or for Customers. The address data on "Additional Addresses" sheet must be different from address on "General Data" sheet.
