Extension ledger entries for GR

in S4 after the period is closed in leading ledger , extension ledger is used to post additional entries. Does the extension ledger entries post to the consolidation ledger by default or is there any additional settings required to be done in GR to extract the extension ledger entries.

You need to source your consolidation version from the extension ledger, then it will read both the base + extension ledger entries during the data release task.
