Extensibility cockpit

Hello everybody, 

I try to set up the approval possibility in my Manage My Timesheet app (F1823) with activated scope item 1Q4 Time Recording. 
The Timesheet Approver option can be added via Extensibility Cockpit app (F2866) where I found Business Context HCM_CATS_V1_APPROVER_DETRMN HCM: Timesheet Approver Determination with which I can create a Custom logic and implement this Timesheet Approver functionality into my system. 
My question is, will I activate any more scope item (like SuccessFactors (HR) module) with this BADI extensibility? Or is it free and safe to use?

Activating the BAdln will only impact SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition as the approval will happen only on S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

So if you have the right authorization to make the extensions, you can go ahead and do it, per the extensibility capabilities of the solution.
