Extend VA05 with product characteristics values

I want to extend the VA05 transaction (Sales Order list) with the product characteristics values. In the app itself I could not find these fields in changing the layout of the view. Therefore I searched for released CDS views that I can use to create a custom CDS view but without success.

What are my options? Should I start looking at development? (I have a 3 tier landscape).

Hello Sam, you can look at CDS View I_ClfnObjectCharcValForKeyDate to get to the Classification of the Product. This will allow a custom CDS view to join product master data to the sales order.
