If we export layout using this function and then we import to another DB, do we need to update connection string in the layout ?

What tool are you using? CR doesn't have a Report and Layout Manager...

Hi DonWilliams, We create layout using CR and sets the query in Stored procedure and saved it in sql then linked it in CR

What version of CR are you using? I don't recognise that tool. If you change DB connection info you need to open the report and update the connection to the new Server.

In my case, they installed it when we implemented SAP "SAP Crystal Reports 2016" version 14.2" In Crystal you can change the connection string and test, then upload to SAP

Hi, yes, you need to change the chain. It happened to me and in Crystal I modified the chain. Although in some reports it doesn't happen to me.
