Hi All,
As per the Client Requirement ,In Production order the Storage Type search sequence for TO(Transfer Order) creation has to be updated after a simple validation.
I am Unable to find a suitable Exit/Badi such that I can update the storage type Indicator which is maintained in OMLY.
As of now the System is selecting by default another Storage Type Indicator(standard Functionality) But the business wish to update the same with a different Strategy based on Routing Classification.
Your Inputs and Help will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
SB

Hi Sreejith,
did you check the existing customer fuctions for WM?
I used in 2008 the following one to change the palletization and the storage type based on my Material Movement data (retrieved from LTAK/LTAP)
MWMTO007 Palletization and storage type search for stock placements
You can do the same:

Although it is not very clear whether you are looking to create TO for the replenishment to line side or after the final confirmation hence I suggest please have a look on the below SAP link to get the detail of all the user exit and adopt the same based on your requirement

The poster asked a very specific question about updating the storage type. Your comments about replenishment vs backflush (what you are calling after final confirmation - which can really take place after any confirmation, not just final) have no bearing on the storage type.
Simone's answered the question specifically and correctly, your link to general data does not add any value. Please try to add value to the conversation instead of misdirecting people.
