Excel Add-in SSO login issue with script error

Hello,

We have implemented MFA for our ByDesign system and the SSO login works fine with Test system for browser and excel add-in. For production system works fine with browser but excel add-in throws script error. 

We reached SAP via incident and it seems the browser setting needs to be changed and to work with our internal IT but we need to know which setting need to be changed. 

Also it works fine with our personal machine. Does anybody can help or faced this kind of problem ?

Please find below some solutions we have discovered for Browser and navigation container issues. You can try the following steps to solve a script error in the SSO navigation container in Excel using Chrome:

1. Clear browser cache: Go to Chrome settings, click on "Privacy and security," then select "Clear browsing data." Choose the desired time range and check the box for "Cached images and files." Finally, click on "Clear data" to clear the cache.

2. Disable browser extensions: Some browser extensions can interfere with script execution. Temporarily disable all extensions and check if the error persists. If the error is resolved, enable the extensions one by one to identify the problematic one.

3. Update Chrome: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Chrome. Go to Chrome settings, click on "About Chrome," and it will automatically check for updates. If an update is available, install it and restart the browser.

4. Disable hardware acceleration: Sometimes, hardware acceleration can cause script errors. Go to Chrome settings, click on "Advanced," then under the "System" section, disable the toggle for "Use hardware acceleration when available." Restart Chrome and check if the error is resolved.

5. Reset Chrome settings: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting Chrome settings to their default values. Go to Chrome settings, click on "Advanced," then under the "Reset and clean up" section, click on "Restore settings to their original defaults." Confirm the reset and restart Chrome.
