EWM Physical Inventory - Movement Type in S4 HANA

Hello Experts,

I use EWM Physical Inventory Process in S4 HANA. When I post the count system creates a document with movement type 711-712. Is that possible to change the movement type behind this process?

I mean, when I post the differences I want the system to create teh document with a different movement type. (exp. 561)

Hello Atasoy,

for what reason exactly do you want to change the movement type ? Movement type 711/712 are specially intended for inventory postings.

561 is intended for initial entry of inventory e.g. to migrate stock.

However, there is an EWM BAdI with which you can influence the posting in S4HANA or the material document. So you could maybe change the movement here.
