Event Based Production and WIP reversal

We have customer scenario in Event-based WIP. The customer wants to reverse the Material before the teco in case there has been some specification changes or for any reason. In event-based once we do the GR the WIP is closed and we are not able to see that back . since the manufacturing cycle is longer they would want to have a view of the WIP and also as a part of financial reporting they require this.

Is there any way we can reverse the material after GR to WIP back.

I don't quite understand the scenario.

Do you want to reverse the GR after you set TECO?

I think you can first reverse TECO and then post GR reversal.

Is there any problem for above processing?

If you reverse TECO, system will calculate WIP.

the scenario is as follows. the customer business model is such that when ever there is a spec change or any business reason the FG has to be modified they will reverse it WIP and complete the activity in the same order itself. This is also required because they also have a reporting need on the WIP in this manner. So when we do teco and GR the WIP in event based account is cleared. when we reverse it does not go to the old stage. is there any way we can achieve this to show the materials in WIP event back.

If it's not working, you can check in app Manage Product Costing Errors for the order to see whether error exists.
