ESS- runtime error “There is no processing process for absence type 2220, rule group...”

Run time error happened in ESS when employee login to ESS Portal

“ZRPESS_WEBMO_FEATURE” program is used to return the default values based on the Employee group and the Gender

After debug the error we found employee’s employee group is not belong to any "rule groups", is there anyway to avoid this error especially for employee who do not permitted to submit leave?

Hi Cecilia,

We had the same issue with WEBMO feature not determining a rule group for employees after support packs had been applied.

The issue was resolved with SAP note: 2305304

Please try and advise.

if he is not permitted then why leave request is shown to him?

He is not allowed to access the application at all? Then you should remove the link depending upon his attribute like EG or ESG through the dynamic badi available

Please check below table, error because  of  leave type is properly configured in SPRO.

1. V_HRWEB_RULE_GRP
2. V_PTARQ_TPROCESS
3. V_T554S_WEB

Also, check in feature  pe03- WEBMO  rule is activated.
