ESS Leave issue - Incorrect Quota balance to apply for an absence from Portal

Dear Experts,

Greetings!

I have a typical issue when applying an absence from portal. Here goes the example.

I have a quota for multiple usage periods (deduction periods). Quota can be acquired only till end of the year, but can be used 3 months extra in the next year.

01.01.2021 to 31.03.2022 - Balance is now 0.5

01.01.2022 to 31.02.2023 - Full balance available (say 20 days)

Now, I have an existing absence in 01.02.2022 which added up to leave the balance of 0.5 on first quota.

With this scenario; now when I try to apply the absence in January 2022 (before the existing absence in February 2022); from SAP R3 PA30 transaction it is successful and picks the quota from next available quota. But, when the same is tried from ESS Porta absence application, it says insufficient balance available.

Same scenario, when the existing absence on 01.02.2022 is not available (say, balance on first quota is not available), then I am able to successfully apply the absence and the quota from next year is used.

Could someone please help me with a suggestion? This is been an annoying and clueless issue so far.

When we apply absence from PA30, HR_DEDUCE_QUOTA gets the right amount of quota. But, when we apply the absence from the Porta, then from the PTARQ framework; with the SIMULATE_VIA_BLOP method and subsequent method calls, get an incorrect amount of quota.

Did enough of debugging and searching on the SAP forums. Tried with SAP notes as well, but none helped.

Given is the stack when I debugged for this issue. Till CL_PT_TMW_BLP_TPHANDLER=>PROCESS_TPOINT_CORE; the execution and the Quotas are all Ok. But, when PROCESS_SRP started, incorrect quotas appear.
